Nongam Head House is located in the Cheongnyangsan Mountain area of Nakdonggang River upstream, Gasong-ri, Dosan-myeon, Andong-si.

As "Gasong-ri" means "the village with beautiful pine trees", it is a lyrical and pastoral village where you can enjoy both the mountain and river scenery.
There are historic sites such as Dosanseowon Confucian Academy, Korean Studies Advancement Center, Ocheon Historic site, Toegye Head House, Dosan Hot Springs, and Yi Yuksa birthplace, etc. in the neighborhood.

The Nakdonggang River flows through the canyon of Gasong-ri along with the mystic Cheongnyangsan Mountain. This area shows the most beautiful view out of 1400 spots along with the Nakdonggang River. The river and cliff, banks of the river of silvery sand is harmoniously mingled in front of the village, with the magnificent view of so called "Dosan 9 valley". The landscape is indeed the climax of Andong culture.

In addition, Gasong-ri has attractions of "Historic Site of King Gongmin", "Gosanjeong Pavilion", "Wolmyeongdam", "Byeokryeok Hermitage" and "Haksodae Valley", so, along with its natural environment, it will bring out handful impressions to the visitors seeking for its natural beauty.
Set in this environment of 600 years of tradition, Nongam Head House and historic sites are now open to the public who loves the "Gangho literature".  
As a head descendant of Nongam, I would like to share this historic sites with the public.
This place will provide the profound moment of contemplation, as Nongam's life and literature has suggested the happiness collaborated with the nature - "Ganghojilak(江湖之樂)" and "Ganghojimi(江湖之美)".
