Tracking

When you walk along the course from Toegye Head House to Yi Yuksa birthplace, right after Woncheon-dong, left side is Dancheon Stream and right side is Cheonsa. Dancheon Stream is also called Dansa.
Just like its name, it is a village of red dirt. As it was introduced in the book 『Korean village tour』-‘a hidden place’, beautiful scenery with the river is shown right behind the Woncheon-dong hill.

The entrance to the Cheongnyangsan Mountain is riverside of the village front.
The ancestors also initiated tracking from this spot.
The track flows through the river, Cheonsa - Dansa - Maenae - Olmijae - Gasari - Neobundeul to the Cheongnyangsan Mountain.
Among them, Maenae - Olmijae - Gasari area is not as much developed canyon and its natural beauty is still remained as is.
Toegye mentioned this track as "just as being inside of the picture", also illustrated himself walking into the picture. Along this road, Toegye studied in the Cheongnyangsan Mountain. As Toegye mentioned, it could be named "Yedeon-gil"

Hiking

Cheongnyangsan Mountain(870m) is located in 29km Southeast away from Bonghwa-eup and 24Km Northeast from Andong-si, which is just like hidden away from the city.
There are various tourist attractions such as Gwanchang Falls, temple site and Cheongnyangsa temple which grand master Wonhyo has built in Silla dynasty's King Munmu the 3rd year(year 663), as well as beautiful 12 peaks such as Geumtapbong and 8 caves. 

The first thing you come across on the way to Cheongnyangsan Mountain is Toegye's monument behind the Cheongnyangsan Provincial Park stone marker.
Toegye has hesitated to make choice between this spot and the current Dosanseowon Confucian Academy's spot, since he is fond of this place.
It is the mountain with the legends of famous masters such as Toegye, Wonhyo, Uisang, Kim Seng and Choe Chiwon, etc.

Rubbing

The rubbing of Eubuga is part of Toegye's masterpiece "Dosan 12 gok(12 pieces of poems)". "Dosangasa(陶山歌詞)" is published in Dosanseowon Confucian Academy, which holds Toegye's Dosan 12 gok(first half 6 pieces, second half 6 pieces) and Nongam's Eubuga 14 (Eubuga 9 pieces, Eubudanga 5 pieces). Yeongnam's Gangho literature is formed based on the Nongam and Toegye's correlation. This unique wooden rubbing letter is the splendid masterpiece of Toegye, along with "Dosan 12 gok".

Tea ceremony

Tea ceremony is one of the way to train body and soul as an performance of accumulating virtue. Tea is used for medicine from ancient times. Since it has flavor and awakening effect also easy to produce, tea ceremony is developed as a culture while it gains popularity.

Stream Fishing

Chunryup is stream fishing at river. Stream fishing is popular in summer time, although it is available from spring to fall. You can swim at the river side while netting the fish. It's also fun to walk around the shore, or to taste the hot soup cooked with the fish just caught.
